The audio promise
Audio is processed for transcription and scoring, then deleted. Nothing is posted or listened to by a human. Ever. Fit Your Wit does not use your audio or lines to train AI models.
The default service processes recordings in memory and does not retain them. If temporary object storage is enabled for reliability, raw audio is deleted within 24 hours by both a storage lifecycle rule and a server reaper. “Delete retained audio” removes it immediately.
What we process
Account and settings
Email, display name, internal user ID, age-confirmation timestamp, Google sign-in identity when used, coach settings, humor style, roast intensity, off-limits topics, reminder time, timezone, device and push identifiers.
Practice and progress
Prompts, typed or transcribed lines, timing measurements, scores, coaching notes, sessions, streaks, saved reel lines, shares, flags, and progress history.
Payments and operations
Google Play product, base plan, entitlement status, purchase-token hash, expiry, app events, performance metrics, and crash diagnostics. Fit Your Wit never receives your card number.
We process these data to provide the service, keep it safe, verify subscriptions, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. For EU/EEA users, the principal basis is performance of our contract; security and limited product analytics rely on legitimate interests, subject to your rights.
Service providers
Depending on enabled production features, Fit Your Wit uses OpenAI for speech transcription and coach speech; OpenRouter and its selected Qwen provider for scoring/generation; Resend for OTP email; Google for sign-in, Play Billing, cloud messaging and Android distribution; PostHog for product analytics; Sentry for crash reporting; and the selected hosting, database, backup and object-storage providers.
These providers process only what is needed for their function. Production setup must use available data-processing agreements, regional hosting, restricted retention, and provider settings that prohibit training where offered.
Retention
- Raw audio: not retained by default; otherwise no more than 24 hours.
- OTP codes: 10 minutes; only hashes are held.
- Drill transcripts, scores and profile: while your account is active.
- Operational analytics and crash data: limited to the configured vendor retention.
- Account deletion: access ends immediately, followed by a 30-day recovery window and hard purge.
Your choices and rights
You can correct settings in the app, export a machine-readable copy, delete retained audio, and request account deletion. Depending on location, you may also have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port data, and to complain to your data-protection authority.

Use the support contact published on Fit Your Wit’s Google Play listing for privacy questions or a recovery request during the 30-day deletion window. The final production operator identity, postal address, support email, and EU representative (if required) must be published here before launch.
This policy will be updated when Fit Your Wit’s processing changes. Material changes will be explained in the app or by email where required.
